Imran Khan

Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and philanthropist who was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. He is one of the most prominent and well-known figures in Pakistan’s history.

• • Imran Khan was a highly successful international cricketer. He was a fast bowler for the Pakistan national cricket team from 1971 to 1992. He was the team captain when Pakistan won its first-ever Cricket World Cup in 1992.
  • Philanthropy: Besides his cricket career, Imran Khan has been involved in philanthropic and charitable work. He founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Lahore, a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center, in memory of his mother who died of cancer.
